Second part of DuDi’s diary (2015-2022).
Here to the first part: My name was DuDa (DuDi)
6 January 2015
It has now snowed for the first time in my life. It was the most snow I’ve ever seen!
5 March 2015
A black day: I was diagnosed as positive for leishmaniasis. Now I have to undergo treatment for several weeks and then take tablets for a few years until the pathogen has died down to zero. But the positive part is that I didn’t even notice it afterwards and was able to carry on with my life as usual!
25/26 December 2015
Here I am at Christmas around the same year: there is no sign of leishmaniasis at all!
2 February 2016
Here we are Happy on an excursion.
17 April 2016
Our master’s mum was visiting again and took this great photo of the two of us watching the street from the front door.
April 2016
Mum also took this photo of us during an outing.
And here we are with mum in front of the Milatos cave!
What’s going on out there?
And here Mum photographed us at the old Pigi church near Kastelli.
25 May 2016
Break for supplies on the E4 hiking trail on the Lasithi plateau.
27 May 2016
We often went cycling in the mountains alongside our master.
9 September 2016
At this time, we are raising four abandoned puppies from Malia. Here you can only see two of them – including tiny Yoda – because the other two have fortunately already been placed.
13 September 2016
I’m always really happy when visitors come!
12 October 2016
As soon as the Malia puppies have all been placed, we find this little rascal Ali abandoned on the street in front of our house. Now the education continues!
27 October 2016
Meanwhile, we also regularly visit Marley from the Malia puppies in Elounda, where she was adopted.
4 November 2016
Now I always have to lead the rascals on the walk!
17 November 2016
What does the little rascal always want from me?
8 January 2017
Have fun in the snow!
12 April 2017
As a princess on my royal pillow.
4 June 2017
Of course, I’m always up for playing with children and dogs.
28 June 2017
Defence of the front door.
23 July 2017
Somehow I’m not so happy about having to jostle with the others on the dog couch.
14 February 2018
It’s very cold and our big dog bed is currently in my master’s study to keep us warmer.
20 October 2018
Expedition through the Kritsa Gorge. I can tell you, it was quite a challenge for a medium-sized dog like me to get up everywhere!
3 November 2018
Unfortunately, I have now become very fat and weigh over 19 kilograms. But that’s not because I’ve eaten far too much – no, I’ve now also been diagnosed with a metabolic disorder. From now on I’ll be taking two tablets a day and soon my weight will go down again so that I’ll weigh around 15 kilograms.
26 October 2019
My master’s mum is back and has to look after me here in Ierapetra, which I don’t like at all.
2 March 2020
My first visit to the Bronx animal shelter.
6 April 2020
A nap on my personal favourite pillow spot near my master’s workplace.
13 April 2020
This is my favourite spot for breakfast on the veranda.
16 May 2020
I’d love the football pizza too!
20 July 2020
And once again on the beach in Malia, usually once a week during the summer.
29 September 2020
Freewheeling together with Ali at the windmills near Vrouhas.
24 December 2020
Even though it’s Christmas, Ali should leave me alone now!
7 March 2021
What has the master done with Ali now?
4 May 2021
Pack outing by car, weather permitting, two to three times a week!
8 May 2021
And that nobody gets too close to me here, because the food rings are all mine!
20 September 2021
Together with Ali on the secluded sandy beach behind Kolokitha.
8 October 2021
Here I am at the dog play and training area in Heraklion.
14 October 2021
Today we once again visited Nikos in his Bronx shelter.
2 December 2021
How unpleasant: My teeth had to be done and I had to be anaesthetised.
8 December 2021
As you can see, I can now chew my food again!
25 December 2021
A glorious Christmas Day with a walk in the sunshine.
1 January 2022
New Year and we recently got a new Coche – um, not exactly, it’s actually for the two-legged friends in the TV room, which is why we from the four-legged faction are looking a little concerned.
5 January 2022
A break during a trip to the Spinalonga peninsula (Kolokitha) in glorious weather in January.
28 January 2022
Now I’m supposed to play Nutcracker too!
21 February 2022
Mum and I are visiting Chania today.
25 March 2022
The grass is particularly tasty in spring, as seen here during a break on a cycle tour in the mountains.
29 March 2022
When it gets hot and there are still springs of fresh water from the mountains en route, we naturally have to enjoy the cool water.
8 April 2022
Today we went on a fun and huge hiking trip through the Havga Canyon with its stream of meltwater on the Lassithi plateau.
29 May 2022
What, now I’m supposed to play with the ball in this heat? I’m not a puppy anymore!
5 June 2022
Finally water after the hike at Drasi Park.
17 June 2022
It’s too hot for me again.
28 June 2022
And here we are again at the dog park in Heraklion.
2 July 2022
If I’ve been particularly good, there’s always an extra reward!
11 October 2022
Mum’s mum is here again and we drove up to the Lasithi plateau together today.
11 November 2022
Here we are all in the group photo while we wait for our master to do the shopping.
27 November 2022
Big hike today under low-hanging clouds to the Azilakon forest high above Malia. Of course, as always, I have to keep an eye on Shadow to make sure she doesn’t do anything stupid!
1 December 2022
Now I also have to deal with those annoying cats that live in the front garden all the time.
18 December 2022
Today a big pack trip up to old Naxos above Elounda.
22 December 2022
We’ll have to take a closer look at this one!
DuDi’s diary will continue here soon!
